Pet Friendly

The Golden Gate Hotel is one of the more charming pet friendly hotels in San Francisco Union Square. We welcome well-behaved dogs with the appropriate vet certification. Pets must not be left alone in the room while the guest is away from the hotel. Pets must also be friendly towards humans and other pets.

Your furry friend must be on a leash when outside of the room as per State law.

We maintain our Pet Friendly hotel policy in loving memory of our “Cookie”. She enjoyed greeting our guests upon their arrival, loved a belly rub, and was keen to be front and center in the breakfast parlor for any tidbits.
